With over 100,000 visitors already having experienced this adventure in Cumbria, Zip World is proud to bring Treetop Nets® to North Wales.

Treetop Nets® is designed to offer an amazing and adventurous way for both children and adults to play up high in the trees. Unlike traditional high ropes courses, you’ll be completely surrounded by 3m high walls of netting which means you are always safe and therefore you do not need harnesses.

The new Bounce Below is open

Bring out your inner James Bond and Lara Croft as Bounce Below re-opens bigger, better and bouncier than ever.

After a year’s planning and rebuilding and more than £3/4million investment, Bounce Below is back to give thrill seekers aged seven and up a shot of pure, unadulterated fun in a spectacular setting deep underground.

The breath-taking site, in a former slate mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales, lets you play, slide, roll, jump and bounce from net to net in a cavern the size of a cathedral.

Following a massive refurbishment, the Bounce Below experience now offers four new industrial slides, the height of two double decker buses and six new levels of bouncing fun, giving underground adventurers 400 additional square metres to explore.

Visitors enter a network of enormous caverns hidden underground, once home to a working Victorian mine, and now brought back to life as the only subterranean playground of its kind, offering a unique adventure in a beautiful and historic location.

The greatest underground adventure

Prepare for another world

Zip World Caverns is a remarkable, uniquely exhilarating and atmospheric underground adventure that has been inaccessible for nearly 200 years. It is the ultimate all weather adventure!

After being kitted up, you will complete a training course using the specialised lanyard safety system before setting off on the main course. Our Team is always on hand to assist any nervous adventurers.

You will take an epic journey through the underground caverns on zip lines, rope bridges, via ferrata and tunnels.

Don't want your experience to end? Then turn right and put your nerves to the ultimate test with the NEW Caverns ending!!

Navigate a 8m long gap in the rock, by opting to either ‘walk the line’ and scale the 25m drop using just a 12mm wide rope to stand on, or to inch your way, swing-by-swing, using the 14-rung monkey bars. Once successfully completed, you’re faced with the ‘stairway to heaven’, the third and highest via ferrata consisting of 36 steps that takes you to the highest point on the Caverns course, 30m above ground. And from here you meet your final challenge: the steepest zip wire in the UK.

Additional Information

Although we aim to allow riders to reach whatever speeds gravity, air resistance and climatic conditions will allow we are, in the interests of safety, obliged to limit arrival (landing) speeds. To this end, certain weather conditions necessitate the use of equipment designed to moderate the speed of some riders and although this will also limit their ultimate speed the objective is to moderate landing speeds only. In very strong “following” winds (i.e. in line with the zip lines) this may involve the deployment of mini parachutes but more usually devices we call “sliders” which consists of small triangular strips of fabric. All equipment is fitted and activated by Zip World staff.

Conversely, certain conditions (e.g. a strong head wind or very light riders) require us to add weight to riders. The adding of equipment to control or increase speed is done purely to ensure the safest and most enjoyable zip lining experience possible.

Please Note

For safety reasons we may introduce amendments to weight restrictions or even adventure postponement.  When this is necessary it will be shown on the Ride Status page of our website. In such instances you can reschedule your booking within the next 12 months, swap to another Zip World adventure of the same price (subject to availability) or be issued with a refund.  Full information on our postponement policy can be found in our T&Cs.

Children under the age of 18 years will not be permitted to use any activity unless accompanied by a participating adult.
