We’ll only be shut on Christmas Day and Boxing day, meaning once the stress of present buying and turkey cooking is over, you can round up the troops and let your hair down at one of our 4 exhilarating Zip World sites.
Finding something to do on those days between Christmas and New Year can be quite the challenge, especially if you’ve been too caught up in the festivities and haven’t thought about how you’ll entertain the kids once Christmas is over.
With the Christmas tree starting to droop and the leftovers are coming to an end, Zip World are here to lift your spirits, giving you the chance to create lifelong memories and to end 2022 on a high.

Nothing says ‘I love you’ more than plummeting from a 100ft tower on Plummet 2. The world's first tandem drop experience, you and your partner can experience the ultimate test of courage as you fall as a tandem through a trapdoor!

Quarry Karts (Zip World Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda)
Are you sick of your partner being a backseat driver? Put their driving skills to the test on Quarry Karts and zoom down the epic 3-kilometre track on the UK’s only mountain cart experience. Take on twists, turns, tunnels, and obstacles, for an utterly unique couples day out.

Tower Climber Main and Junior (Zip World Tower, Aberdare)
Take your family on an adventure set high above the ground for 2 hours of challenging fun. The biggest of its kind in the UK, Tower Climber Main Course boasts 3 storeys and a viewing deck, featuring 55 different elements. Tower Climber is perfect for families of all ages, featuring a lower-level course for your mini adventurers to enjoy too.
Forest Coaster (Zip World Fforest, Betws y Coed)
A family favourite, soar through the stunning woodland on the UK’s only alpine coaster, while reaching speeds of up to 25pmh! Adrenaline junkies can zoom around as fast as possible, while those who like to err on the side of caution can coast by and soak in the surroundings. The coaster carts have space for 2, meaning children and adults can ride together.

Underground Golf (Zip World Llechwedd, Blaenau Ffestiniog)
A classic but with a twist, Underground Golf is the first ever adventure golf in a cavern, only accessible via Europe’s steepest cable railway. The 18-hole multi-level course is set 500ft underground and features an array of impressive lighting displays, interactive elements and 4D experiences. We even have adults-only Beer and Burger sessions on Friday nights!

Days out don’t get much better than this. End the year on the world’s fastest zip line, Velocity 2 and fly headfirst at speeds of up to 100mph over the stunning Penrhyn Quarry. Suitable for all abilities, this crowd-pleasing adventure appeals to thrill seekers looking for a once in a lifetime experience. Velocity 2 can be enjoyed alone, as a pair, or in a group (perfect for groups of 4, as we have 4 parallel zip lines)
