Your Accommodation Options for ZipRoc 2019

Fancy joining us for the ultimate music festival this year, but live a bit too far afield? Well, we’re here to help you get organised, decide on your accommodation for the evening and take the stress out of finding that perfect place to stay.

We have plenty of options and suggestions over on our accommodation page but read on for a closer look at our top picks in the area.

For groups:
Looking for somewhere nearby with a buzz for you and your friends to kick back and relax over the weekend? Our top pick would have to be The Rocks Hostel in Capel Curig. This 5* hostel brings you all of the luxury and uniqueness you’d expect from highly rated accommodation, with the affordable price of a hostel. Rooms range from 2 bed private rooms, to 8 bed dorms. The Rocks is just a 10 minute drive from ZipRoc too!

Alternatively, the stunning Bryn Derwen rental manor house is just a stone’s throw away from the ZipRoc site, at around a 5 minute walk. This manor house can sleep up to 20 guests, with 7 bedrooms – it’s the perfect option for those who want to inject a little more ‘glam’ into the weekend! For something a little more stripped back, we love The Joys Of Life Country Park, where they have a selection of different accommodation options, from camping pitches, to self-catering holiday cottages.

For families and friends:
There’s a fair few options nearby for families and friends who are wanting a quieter stay. The Bangor Travelodge is the perfect choice for that one night stop-over, while the self-contained Rocks Hostel Retreat Cottage is a safe bet for those looking for a little more space and privacy. We’d recommend taking a look at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge; with a simply stunning setting and a 20-30 minute scenic walk to the ZipRoc site, it’s an idyllic option! The low-key family rooms are well equipped for parents with children, plus the bed and breakfast option takes the stress out of feeding times!

For the travel enthusiasts:
This year, we’re excited to be able to offer a number of ZipRoc motorhome pitches on site. Roll up to the festival and we’ll do the rest. The pitch will be yours from Friday night until Sunday morning, so no need to stress about a parking space, accommodation or forgetting any essentials! The pitch will cost £80 for the evening and will include access to the indoor facilities during the Blondin Restaurant opening hours.

Alternatively, you can pitch up your tent for the evening at the Dinas Farm campsite, which is just a 10 minute drive from ZipRoc. Situated on the banks of the River Ogwen, it boasts a private, sheltered woodland setting.

For couples:
Why not rent a log cabin for the evening for the two of you? We particularly love the Ogwen Bank park, which is just 0.5 miles from ZipRoc, with each cabin complete with living space and your own garden! Alternatively, the hundreds of hotels nearby will see you enjoying a comfortable night’s stay; the Stables Hotel in Betws-Y-Coed is a tried and tested firm favourite in the area. There are also a selection of options on the Air BnB website, including the stunning Cwt Haul Chalet.
