Chefs - Blondins Restaurant and Fforest Caffi

We are looking for hard working individuals who love preparing and cooking food to work within our Blondins and Fforest Caffi Restaurants.

Locations:  Fforest Caffi (Zip World Fforest in Betwys-y-Coed) Blondins Restaurant (Zipworld Bethesda) - Please note that we may require you to work in both locations

Pay:  Dependant on experience

Contracts:  We have a variety of contracts available including Fixed Term and Casual.


Main Purpose of the Job: To prepare and cook high quality dishes and ensure guest satisfaction.

Your accountabilities are:

Prepares and Cooks guests' orders according to their preferences
Employs food safety best practices
Works quickly and accurately during busy periods
Happy to take on extra duties, such as cleaning, when the kitchen is short-staffed or the restaurant is particularly busy
Takes direction and works with the restaurant's management and front of house team team
When required support ordering and stock management

Essential Requirements and skills

Technical skills (cooking techniques, knowing how to cook, store and serve food)
An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety, ideally minimum Level 1 Food Safety trained.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours
Teamwork and communication skills
A willingness to learn and take on board instructions
Organisational skills
Attention to detail to ensure consistent, high standards
Commitment and loyalty
A hard-working and calm approach
The ability to work without supervision.
A willingness to work across two sites based in Bethesda and Betws Y Coed
