As Digital Marketing & Revenue Manager at Zip World you will be instrumental in creating and implementing the digital marketing program for Zip World’s new and existing sites. You will lead the program, driving large scale change throughout the business to achieve capacity and pre-booking sales targets.

What will this role entail?  

As the Digital Revenue Manager/Digital Marketing Manager will have responsibility for:

  • Analysing and interpreting data using revenue levers such as; Demand Based pricing, Promotional Effectiveness and seasonality trends to produce tactical marketing plans
  • Conducting regular market reviews to include, but not limited to, media buying and robust monthly reporting
  • Communicating and presenting group revenue performance to the Exec. team on a monthly basis providing insights and strategies
  • Monitoring future bookings and yield evolution and providing recommendations
  • Compiling and communicating daily, weekly and monthly reports highlighting anomalies and taking personal responsibility for all resulting actions
  • Constantly tracking participation and bookings against budget, adjusting revenue levers to ensure high levels of occupancy are maintained
  • Monitoring demand trends and competitive landscape and providing recommendations to the Exec. team
  • Closely managing the digital advertising channels through agency relations and third party ticket resellers to maximise occupancy
  • Closely monitoring implications of events and shifting sessions calendars to meet demand patterns for a seasonal business
  • Working closely with the Commercial Manager, General Managers and Marketing Team to coordinate efforts and build revenue strategies at site level
  • Identifying gaps to plan/future risks and opportunities and acting upon them
  • Working with all Zip World staff to deliver customer excellence and promote the Zip World values

What will I need to be considered for this role?  

  • Experience in sales revenue management in travel or leisure related business
  • Analytical rigour and curiosity, mathematical modelling and commercial acumen
  • Ability to visually represent thoughts and findings and gain buy-in quickly
  • Exposure to third party booking platforms, PMS and other distribution channels
  • Track record in fast-paced sales environment and a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to create innovative digital campaigns which drive pre-bookings
  • Demonstrable skill in improving marketing effectiveness and monitoring ROI by campaign and data set
  • Able to take responsibility for own personal development by keeping up to date with the latest analytics software relating to your role and techniques and policies associated with best working practices
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker and innovator with integrity and resilience
  • Collaborative style of working and enjoys working as part of a team whilst leading from the front
  • A “do-er” who can ‘roll their sleeves up’ when required and resolves issues with minimum fuss

  • a salary of up to £45k – dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, with infrequent weekend work required to accommodate business needs.
