Fforest Cafe Manager
Location: Zip World Fforest, Betws-y-Coed
Type of Contract: Permanent. Hours will vary according to seasonal requirements (40hrs per week from Easter until end of October then 32 hours November until Easter)
Salary: £18-20k pro-rata dependant on experience

Main Purpose of the Job
Lead and inspire the café team to deliver an exceptional customer experience whilst driving an efficient and effective operation

Your accountabilities are:
Oversee and lead all cafe operations across our Fforest site
Lead your team to deliver an exceptional level of service
Lead your team to deliver brand standard products
Develop and inspire and manage the FOH and BOH team
Drive revenue through service, and execution of marketing initiatives
Deliver the Café P&L and all related KPIs
Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service
Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
Maintain quality control for all food and drink served
Look for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
Complete daily cashing management and locking up processes
Serve food, hot and cold drinks and clear tables ensuring the cafés are always kept clean and tidy
Complete weekly Front of house rotas and monthly payroll
Complete daily stock orders with suppliers
Stock management of products being sold
Complete any operational admin
Be aware of and manage Health & Safety at Work, Food Hygiene, Fire Regulations, Licensing Laws Employment Law, HR practices and procedures
Essential Requirements and skills
Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels
Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas
Good time-keeping skills
Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills
Significant work experience in the hospitality industry and ideally in management
Front and back of house experience
Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
Ability to use F&B management software
Strong leadership skills
Decisive and critical thinker
Driving licence holder due to requirement of transporting stock between outlets on site
Be flexible to work shifts between 8am-8pm during peak periods
Please note that weekends, bank holidays and school holidays are our busiest times, therefore, your working hours will be reflective of this.
