HR Business Partner - Recruitment & Selection

Location:  Llanrwst, North Wales

Salary:  £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Contract:  Full time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Closing Date:  28th February 2019


Main Purpose of the Job: To collaborate with and advise hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment process from role approval to onboarding. Actively and positively represent the following at all times:

Your responsibilities are:

Write job adverts and advertise on website, job boards and social networks eg LinkedIn
Organise and attend onsite recruitment events
Actively source candidates online, at events eg career fairs and local initiatives
Screen applications and update candidates on the hiring process
Advise managers on the interview process including competency based and other methods of assessing suitability
Ensure recruitment process is legally compliant
Arrange and attend interviews
Evaluate potential candidates alongside hiring managers
Manage and provide status updates to the HR Manager, hiring managers and members of the Executive team when required
Manage the recruitment of seasonal staff as is required by the business
Analyse turnover and retention rates in order to forecast future hiring needs
Update and review job descriptions eg add tasks or modify requirements as necessary
Answer candidate queries regarding the application process
Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
Onboarding of new starters ensuring the starter process if followed up to and including induction
Maintain a talent pipeline
Proactively consider ways of promoting employment opportunities within the local community

Essential Requirements and skills:

Work experience as an Inhouse Recruiter or Recruiter
Solid understanding of full cycle recruiting
Familiar with various methods of attracting and sourcing talent
Understanding of employment law
Experience of managing several vacancies at any one time
Experience of managing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to proactively manage own workload
Able and willing to work weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the business
Full driving licence


Experience of working within a seasonal staffing environment
Experience of working across multiple sites
