Recruitment Process

Shortlisting
During our shortlisting process we assess candidates against essential and desirable criteria for the role.

Interview
If you have applied for a permanent role and you have been successfully shortlisted you will be invited along for an interview, depending on the role this may be either by telephone or face to face. If you have applied for one of our seasonal roles you will be invited along to a recruitment assessment day at one of our sites.

What to expect
Our interviews are generally competency-based questions that give you an opportunity to talk us through your experience, strengths and skills for the role. Interviews generally last between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Our recruitment assessment days are designed to be fun and relaxed as we think it’s the best way to see the real you. The assessment sessions generally last half a day and are likely to include group activities, interviews and a chance to experience one of our Zip World adventures!

What to bring
You’ll receive an email letting you know what you need to bring to your interview. Generally, this will include documents that prove you have the right to work in the UK and any relevant qualifications.

What to wear
We’re not the most formal organisation and you don’t need to wear a three-piece suit but remember to dress to impress!

Outcome
We will always aim to get in touch as soon as we can after all the interviews have taken place and you will receive a phone call or an email to let you know If you have been successful or not. We are always more than happy to provide feedback following an interview.
