Bringing a Taste of Welsh Adventure to London

From the adventure capital to London, Zip World is bringing an EPIC experience like no other to London’s Southbank.
Launching on July 12th, Londoners can finally see what all the fuss is about as the Welsh innovator brings its unique zip line product to the capital.
London riders will enjoy views of the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and The Shard as they travel 225 metres across Archbishop’s Park.
Zip World has been at the forefront of adventure since 2013 when it launched Velocity, a zip line where thrill-seekers exceed speeds of 100mph. Since then, the business has added Europe’s first four-person zip line with Titan, the world’s largest underground playground with Caverns and Bounce Below and the UK’s only Alpine Coaster in the lush setting of the Betws-y-Coed Fforest site.
David Stacey, Zip World Managing Director, says: “Zip World London is our first city-based adventure and we want it to be a calling card for all that we have to offer. We are excited to be in one of the greatest cities in the world, offering Londoners and visitors the Zip World experience.
“This new attraction will whet the appetite for urban adventurers to come and see more of Zip World in Wales. Alongside the raft of experiences for visitors to try here, the beautiful countryside of north Wales offers a welcome escape from the city.
“With more people holidaying in the UK, it’s important we bring people from around the UK to north Wales. In 2016, one in five of our visitors were from London and the South East of England, but we want to attract more. There’s nowhere like north Wales on earth and the more people that come and fall in love with it, the more the entire community will continue to thrive.”
Zip World London will have two wires, 35m high and will reach speeds of 50kph. For a limited time only this summer, visitors 8+ years old can experience the urban adventure. Book now!
