Can I spectate if I am pregnant?
The only restriction for pregnant people spectating with us is if they want to go underground at our Zip World Llechwedd site. We can't allow anyone who is pregnant to spectate during a Bounce Below adventure.
Do you offer discount for CSSC members?
We offer 10% off adventures exclusively for CSSC members. To make a booking using your discount, please call us on 01248 601 444. Please note, the discount is only valid for the registered CSSC member and proof of membership must be shown at check-in on the day of your booking.
Do you accept the Access Card from Nimbus Disability?
Yes, we do.
If you have an Access Card from Nimbus Disability with the +1 symbol, we offer a free essential companion ticket to a career over 16 years old. This allows your essential companion to join you on the adventure free of charge, as long as you're a paying participant. If they’re only there to assist and don’t want to take part themselves, we’ll still accommodate them at no cost.
Please note that due to the nature of our experiences, not all adventures are accessible for every disability. We want all our guests to have the best and safest possible experience, so we recommend giving us a call to discuss your specific access needs before booking.
You can reach our team on 01248 601 444 or email accessibility@zipworld.co.uk – we're happy to help and advise on what’s suitable for you.
If you don’t yet have an Access Card, you can register for one here. There's also an optional £15 upgrade for a 3-year membership that’s recognised by other attractions across the UK.
Which Zip World sites are accessible?
Some of our sites are more accessible than others due to the terrain and remote environment they operate in for example, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry and Zip World Tower is the most accessible site due to the majority of the site being level terrain and includes a purpose built adventure terminal with restaurant and disabled toilets. However, not all the adventures on these sites are fully accessible, so please discuss your needs with us before booking.
Zip World Llechwedd is partly accessible above ground but we can't allow anyone with impaired movement underground in the caves due to the sub-terrain environment, this then limits the adventures you can do here.
Zip World Betws-y-Coed is built on varying terrain including steep hills, this means that accessing certain adventures will not be possible.
Zip World London is fully accessible with flat pathways, lifts to the adventures and accessible toilets within the site.
Zip World Windermere and Zip World Manchester can offer adventures for guests with mobility needs depending on their level of movement, they can also provide a range of experiences that can accommodate other additional needs.
If you wish to discuss your additional needs further when visiting any of our sites, please contact our team on 01248 601 444 or email accessibility@zipworld.co.uk.
Am I eligible for the essential companion ticket?
If you want to participate in an adventure and have an Access Card from Nimbus Disability with the +1 symbol, we offer a free essential companion ticket. This allows your essential companion to join you on the adventure free of charge, as long as you're a paying participant. Your essential companion must be over the age of 16 years.
How do I book using my Access Card?
If you wish to book an adventure and hold an Access Card, we ask that you get in touch with us to make the booking on 01248 601 444. We will discuss any additional needs required for your booking, and then ask for your Access Card ID. This will then show us if you qualify for an essential companion ticket. An essential companion ticket can only be processed over the phone and in advance of your booking. If you have not booked or discussed your booking with us in advance, we can't issue an essential companion ticket on the day. For more information on the 'Essential Companion Ticket', please visit this FAQ.
Do you have accessible toilets?
All our sites offer accessible toilet facilities onsite except our Zip World Manchester and Zip World Windermere sites which have toilet facilities nearby.
