I didn’t know I had to pay for parking
Parking can be added to your basket when booking the adventures online. There are also clearly marked signage in all our carparks that are in-line with British Car Park Association requirements. Visitors are also made aware on our website and on the booking confirmation email, that car parking charges apply to all sites.
What if I can’t download the parking app?
It is recommended that parking is paid for through the Zip World website when booking your adventures for a smooth check-in process when you arrive. Payment only needs to be made before exiting the car parks. Visitors will be able to take advantage of Zip World’s free Wi-Fi.
How do I pay for parking?
You can pay for parking on the Zip World website when booking your adventures. There is an option to add parking to your basket before checking out. Payments are managed via RingGo. You can also pay before or upon arrival to a Zip World site, by downloading the RingGo app. There is signage at every car park instructing you how to pay for parking.
Is there a maximum drop off time when you enter the car park?
There will be an exemption window of any fixed penalty notice if the driver enters and leaves within 30 minutes.
Why do you charge for parking?
It has been introduced to re-invest into the visitor experience and to offset the increasing costs of doing business, a challenge faced by many companies across various sectors. We re-invest into our car parks with regular maintenance and upkeep.
Do you provide bedding linen and towels?
The beds in the property will be made ready for your arrival and hand and body towels are provided at the end of your bed.
Do you provide a cot or highchair at the cottages?
A highchair is provided in the property and is in the cupboard under the stairs. If you need a cot, one can be provided to you upon request before your check-in date.
Is the cottage accessible?
We can’t class the cottage as accessible due to the traditional layout of the property including narrow stairs and doorways.
Can I cancel or modify my accommodation booking?
All bookings will require payment in full.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
More than 70 days = Full standard deposit charge at £50
50 to 70 days = 25% of total accommodation cost
29 to 49 days = 50% of total accommodation cost
