Halloween 2025: The best family-friendly adventures
Halloween is a time of year when we can create the best memories with our families. There are plenty of tricks and treats to be had this October at Zip World with a host of spooky events perfect for the whole family to experience. Forget trick or treating, sitting-in watching scary films and carving pumpkins – a Zip World Halloween experience needs to be on your Halloween bucket list this year!
For the little ones (under 9 years old)
Arachnophobia – Zip World Windermere
Our Arachnophobia Halloween experience in Windermere is a Halloween experience for all the family. Leap, dash, run and explore our bouncy Treetop Nets as you try and avoid the eight-legged monsters crawling the nets along with you. Head to the woodlands of Brockhole in the Lake District during the day to experience a spook-fest bound to be a hit with the whole family. As you explore the vast netted system suspended in the treetops, you will be surrounded by chilling cobwebs and stealthy spider creatures ready to catch you in their webs – you may even run into the human spider hybrid. Your ticket gives you access to the experience and the nets for two whole hours – plenty of time to burn off some energy.

Heaton Park of Horrors – Zip World Manchester
Escape the monsters of Heaton Park at our Halloween experience in Zip World Manchester. This themed experience is perfect for any families in the North West area who have young children who want to experience the thrills of Halloween. Let your kids leap along our bouncy Treetop Nets and dodge hordes of goofy ghouls. This daytime spooktacular sees you trying to escape the mischievous monsters along our vast system of nets, including slides and hideouts decked in spooky decorations. The experience includes access to the nets for an hour and a supernatural scavenger hunt in the Zip World site.

Ffear Fforest – Zip World Betws-y-Coed, North Wales
An ideal event for families with teenagers, Ffear Fforest offers a truly terrifying Halloween experience. This annual scare-fest at Zip World Betws-y-Coed plunges you into a woodland shrouded in darkness and eerie lighting as you try and avoid the horde of demonic clowns lurking around you. These clowns are not afraid to test your patience as they tease and stalk you throughout the night – they even take the chance to sneak into your car as you pull into the car park! Monsters of the Mine – Zip World Tower, South Wales
Another one for the braver members of the family – Monsters of the Mine is a chilling Halloween experience set in a disused coal mine in South Wales. Discover this frightening event where adventure is mixed with terrifying scares. Risen from the mine, our ghastly monsters are ready to cause havoc amongst those who dare to set foot on their land. Put your family’s fears to the test as you brave the adrenaline-fuelled adventures in the dark alongside the tormenting monsters.
