Nestled in the heart of our Llechwedd slate caverns site is the Llechwedd Caffi; the perfect spot to sit back, unwind and grab a bite to eat while adventure unfolds around you.
Out quaint Welsh caffi offers a varied menu of traditional, locally-sourced meals and quick grab ‘n’ go options – so whether you’re after a sit-down meal with the family or a quick refuel after your adventure, we’ve got you covered.
With views of the famous Llechwedd tour underground train, and the Titan zip lines above, our booths are a great spot to plan your adventure with a coffee and cake - or why not indulge and treat yourself to our delicious bubble waffles in 4 yummy flavours. Our local, friendly team are on-hand to help and serve you, and no booking is required, so pop by and kick back next to our log burner.

When the sun’s shining, why not grab an iced coffee and enjoy your food and drink in the outdoor seating area? Shaded by parasols, our outdoor area is a hive of activity and sits directly underneath the Titan zip line! You will also enjoy a view of the Deep Mine train making its journey underground, as well as the mountains beyond.
The restaurant opening times vary throughout the year but you can be sure that we'll be open from 8am until 6pm during weekends and holidays.

As you’d expect, we’re proud to have top-notch food hygiene standards.
It’s not just about the amazing food and drink, we’re also proud to located centrally within the Llechwedd site, which resides in a World Heritage Status area. Beyond the quarry, you will catch glimpses of the Eryri mountain range and the remnants of hundreds of years of slate quarrying.
We’re proud to serve Rockstar Snowdonia cave-aged cheddar on multiple menu items – this cheese is matured in our very own Llechwedd caverns, so it’s very close to our hearts! We’d recommend trying it out, and you can even buy a block for yourself in our giftshop!
How to find us
On the picturesque outskirts of the famous quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Zip World Llechwedd almost blends into the stunning landscape, with the majority of adventures located underground. You’ll find us just off the main road, so we’re easily accessible, with bus and train routes nearby too.
We recommend using public transport, but you'll have no trouble reaching us regardless of your mode of travel.
