How long can we stay at the Forest Lodges?
We have a minimum stay of 3 nights at the Forest Lodges but you can stay for a longer than 3 nights. You can stay up to a week or longer if you wish to do so.
Are the Forest Lodges accessible?
Due to the environment, the terrain to and from the Forest Lodges is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Are there specific days to check-in to the Forest Lodges?
Our check-in days are Monday and Friday with a 3-night minimum stay.
Where do I park for the Forest Lodges?
Each lodge has a clearly signposted, designated parking space located in the upper car park of the Zip World Betws-y-Coed site. Guest parking is completely free, and you'll find simple instructions for registering your vehicle inside your lodge.
Do the Forest Lodges have WiFi?
Yes - all of our Forest Lodges come with complimentary WiFi, so you can stay connected throughout your stay. Whether you're streaming a film, checking in with work, or sharing your adventures on social media, you're covered.
Is the Tyn-y-Coed dog-friendly?
The pub and dining area are both dog-friendly, we just ask that the dog remain on the lead. The inn also provides dog-friendly rooms if needed at no extra charge to the dog.
Is the Tyn-y-Coed a good base for visiting Zip World?
The Tyn-y-Coed inn is based in Capel Curig and is a great place to visit all the Zip World sites in North Wales - guests also have access to 10% off adventures with us. From the Tyn-y-Coed to each site:

Is there a car park at the Tyn-y-Coed?
Guests and customers can use the car park at the Tyn-y-Coed at no charge — just make sure to register your vehicle at reception upon arrival to activate complimentary parking. There is a 10 minute grace period from parking to entering your registration at reception.
Is the Tyn-y-Coed a good base to stay when visiting Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park?
The Tyn-y-Coed Inn is perfectly situated in the heart of Capel Curig—just a stone’s throw from some of the most breathtaking spots in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, ideal for both sightseeing and walking.
If you love hiking, you’re in luck—Moel Siabod is right on your doorstep, with the trailhead just a short walk from the inn and even visible from some of the rooms.
For more iconic adventures, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the Glyder mountain range are only a 10-minute drive away, offering access to some of the best hikes in the region. Plus, the charming towns of Betws-y-Coed, Beddgelert, and Llanberis are all within easy driving distance, perfect for memorable day trips.
