The magical Tower Grotto returns to Zip World Tower (South Wales) this festive season!
Grab your coat and bring plenty of festive cheer; on arrival you will be greeted with a delicious complimentary mince pie and hot chocolate (plus a mulled wine for the adults!) in our Cegin Glo Bar and Bistro. Here, there will be plenty of activities for you to get stuck into. Why not start with writing your letter to Santa at our letter writing station; you could even give it to the main man himself!
Then, head to the magical mezzanine where the Grotto awaits. You’ll get to meet Santa, take plenty of selfies and let him know your Christmas wish; not to mention receive your special gift and Welsh slate bauble!
Now’s the time to head over to the bauble crafting station, where you can decorate the slate bauble to your heart’s content; we’re sure it’ll be centre-stage on the tree at home!

Slate Bauble Crafting Experience
Not only do you get a gift from the main man himself, but you also get your very own Welsh slate bauble to decorate at our craft station! Get your creative juices flowing and decorate to your heart’s content, ready for centre stage on the tree. A wonderful memento or something to gift over the festive season.
Letter to Santa
What better time to tell Santa what you’d like for Christmas than in person! So, get your thinking hats on and make your list a good one and be sure not to miss anything. Santa and his team of elves and reindeer will fly your letter back to the North Pole where they create all of their gifts for the good boys and girls around the world!
Grotto Experience
Looking for Santa? Follow the twinkling fairy lights up the steps to where he awaits your visit. You will find Santa inside his cosy Grotto where he loves to keep warm and enjoy a scrummy mince pie. Santa will welcome you inside to listen to your Christmas wishes, read your letter, and thank you with a special gift. Santa will also join you for some festive photographs for you to remember your experience.

Of course it wouldn’t be a grotto experience without a little something to take home before the big day. Santa has magical gifts suitable for all ages, you’re more than welcome to open these while you’re with us, or save them for Christmas Day.

Tower Climber
Why not add an extra sprinkling of adventure to your Tower Grotto visit?
Opt for the Grotto and Christmas Climber package for your little one, and they can release all that energy after meeting Santa on the Climber's lower-level junior course. The Tower Climber is a fun and exciting high-ropes course that’s bound to be a hit after enjoying a hot chocolate and a mince pie!
Pick a late afternoon/evening slot when the sun’s gone down and be greeted with the Christmas Climber's stunning festive lighting, making it the ultimate festive adventure for the kids.
If it's just you and the bigger kids, you can do the whole course of course!
Restrictions: Child must be a minimum of 1m in height and a maximum weight of 60kg.
