Tower Grotto is designed to capture the familiar magic of a classic Santa's grotto while making the most of its location.

Meet Santa

Meet the elves and The Grump

Santa isn't alone at Tower Grotto. His team of elves will be on hand to welcome families and add to the festive atmosphere. There is also a slightly less cheerful character making an appearance, The Grump. While Santa is busy spreading Christmas cheer, The Grump is intent on causing a little mischief. It's a fun addition that gives the experience a playful character of its own. And don't forget to grab a few ‘elfies’ while you're there.

Write a letter to Santa

Children can get creative and write their Christmas wishes down before sending their letter on its journey to the North Pole. The experience includes the opportunity to take home a special letter from the Official Desk of Santa, providing a lovely keepsake from the visit.

Decorate a Welsh slate bauble

One of the Welsh touches at Tower Grotto is the Welsh slate bauble activity. Visitors receive a special slate bauble and can take it to the decoration station to personalise it. It's a simple craft activity that gives children something they can take home and hang on the Christmas tree and bring out again every year.
