Restrictions
Before booking this adventure, please carefully review the following restrictions to ensure you and your party meet the minimum participation requirements. Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over, and in most cases, an adult must take part in the group unless stated otherwise.
Supervision for under 18’s
1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 5 children <18 yrs
Walking Ability
Due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit. Babe in arms are not permitted
Min Weight
Participants must be above 30kg to take part in this adventure
Max Weight
Participants must weigh a maximum of 130kg to take part in this adventure
Min Height
A minimum height of 1.25m is required for this adventure

What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Once checked in, you’ll meet your guide who will lead you through the entire experience. First, you’ll be kitted into a full-body harness, which will be your safety equipment for both the Stadium Walk and the Stadium Flyer.
If you’ve upgraded to embark on the Stadium Walk, you’ll scale the heights of the Principality stadium, enjoying the cityscape vista as you traverse this iconic building by foot, all whilst safely clipped into the harness system.
You’ll then climb an additional 5 floors on the ship ladder steps, which will elevate you to 60m above the stadium. At the top, you’ll be greeted with the crow’s nest, which will be your zipping platform! Your wonderful guide will keep you safe and sound at all times.
The guide will attach you to the zip line, and with a 3, 2, 1, you will fly at up to 27mph along this 170m zip line. Travelling from south to north, you’ll soar over the roof canopy, with the city views zooming by.
Once you’ve zipped, you’ll head back down to the ground level via steps, where you will get de-kitted. You’re now free to explore everything else Zip World Cardiff has to offer!

When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
What should I wear?
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Can I protect my booking if I need to make any last-minute changes?
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at check-out which will allow you the flexibility to make a last-minute change or cancellation.
Can I book over the phone?
It is quicker to book online, but you’re welcome to call us if you’d prefer; please do so on 01248 601 444. Please note there may be a wait time on the phone, particularly during busy periods.
When are you open?
We are open all year round except Christmas day and Boxing Day. During off-peak seasons, please visit our checkout to see our booking calendar and our opening days. Each site has different opening times and days so please check our website.

How do I book?
The easiest way to book is online. Click the red ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page, and select your adventure, time, date and number of participants.
Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
We’d always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you turn up without a booking, we will do our best to fit you in, but cannot guarantee this. Please be sure to book in advance if you’re travelling a distance to visit us.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Cardiff Central station, multiple city-centre bus routes and a 15 minute drive from the M4, you won’t be short of easy options to reach us. Please plan your route ahead and check the Principality Stadium website for further information on planning your route.
We recommend using public transport, but you'll have no trouble reaching us regardless of your mode of travel.
