Starting at ground level, you and your group will ascend over 200 steps along the bespoke westside walkway to reach the Arch, which is the backbone of this iconic stadium, before taking some time to enjoy the viewing platform and soaking up the sights and sounds of this incredible space and city. End your experience by heading out to the Spire, which stands at 35m above the River Taff.

Restrictions
Before booking this adventure, please carefully review the following restrictions to ensure you and your party meet the minimum participation requirements. Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over, and in most cases, an adult must take part in the group unless stated otherwise.
Supervision for under 18’s
1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 5 children <18 yrs
Walking Ability
Due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit. Babe in arms are not permitted
Max Weight
Participants must weigh no more than 130kg to take part in this adventure
Min Height
A minimum height of 1.25m is required for this adventure
Harness Measurement Limits
Participants must have a waist measurement of 120cm or less and an upper thigh measurement of 65cm or less.

What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Once checked in, you’ll meet your guide, who will lead you through the entire experience. Your guide will help you get kitted into a harness and teach you how to use the safety system. Don’t worry, this is super simple, and you’ll be ready to go in a flash!
With your guide and group, you’ll begin to ascend the 200+ steps up the bespoke walkway on the west side of the stadium roof, as you learn titbits of information about the space. This will take you to the pinnacle, where you will experience the stadium and see views of South Wales from stunning heights.
You’ll first reach the Arch, which is the backbone of the Principality Stadium! You’ll complete a very gentle, sloped climb to reach the Arch. Next, you’ll walk across to the Spire, which will take you to 35m above the famous River Taff.
You’ll then spend a bit of time enjoying views of Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons and the Welsh coastline beyond on the main viewing platform, as well as soaking up the view of the 75,000 seat stadium from above (please note we cannot guarantee that the roof will be open during your experience). Following this, head down the stadium Edge, where you will return to ground level to conclude the experience.
Once you’ve finished, you will either be de-kitted, or embark on another Zip World Cardiff adventure of your choice!

When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
What should I wear?
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Can I protect my booking if I need to make any last-minute changes?
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at check-out which will allow you the flexibility to make a last-minute change or cancellation.
Can I book over the phone?
It is quicker to book online, but you’re welcome to call us if you’d prefer; please do so on 01248 601 444. Please note there may be a wait time on the phone, particularly during busy periods.
When are you open?
We are open all year round except Christmas day and Boxing Day. During off-peak seasons, please visit our checkout to see our booking calendar and our opening days. Each site has different opening times and days so please check our website.

How do I book?

Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
We’d always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you turn up without a booking, we will do our best to fit you in, but cannot guarantee this. Please be sure to book in advance if you’re travelling a distance to visit us.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Cardiff Central station, multiple city-centre bus routes and a 15 minute drive from the M4, you won’t be short of easy options to reach us. Please plan your route ahead and check the Principality Stadium website for further information on planning your route.
We recommend using public transport, but you'll have no trouble reaching us regardless of your mode of travel.
