The Tower Flyer offers the chance to be a part of the adventure whilst remaining closer to the ground and reaching comfortable speeds. This family-friendly option is an experience anyone and everyone can get stuck into, even on a tight schedule.

Tower Flyer Restrictions
Before booking this adventure, please carefully review the following restrictions to ensure you and your party meet the minimum participation requirements. Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over, and in most cases, an adult must take part in the group unless stated otherwise.
Supervision for under 18’s
1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 2 children <18 yrs

Participants must be below 100kg to take part in this adventure

What to expect from your experience
So what’s involved in the experience? Here we’ll talk you through each step of the process for ultimate peace-of-mind, and you’ll see just how accessible this adventure really is!
Check-in
The first step of any Zip World adventure; arrive half an hour before your adventure start-time to check-in at reception and settle in.
Kit-up
Once checked-in, you’ll be pointed in the direction of the kit-up area, where you’ll be given that all-important safety brief and be fitted into your harness and helmet.
Zip one
Once kitted up, you will ascend the steps to the first platform, which is the highest of 3. From here, a member of our team will connect you to the first zip line and send you flying along the site, with the incredible views and rich history of the site surrounding you.
Zip two and three
Once landed at the 2nd platform, you will be connected to the 2nd zip line, and will repeat the process once more, flying along the former coal mine, soaking up the sights and sounds of the site. You’ll get one final chance to fly on the 3rd zip before touching back down on the ground. Speeds will be steady, giving you the chance to really immerse yourself in your surroundings and build that confidence.
De-kit
You’ll conveniently land right next to the kit-up area, so an instructor will remove your harness for you. Why not spend the rest of your time at Zip World Tower checking out our other adventures or grabbing a bit to eat at the Cegin Glo Bar & Bistro?
FAQs
When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive on site ready to check in for your experience 30 minutes prior to your adventure start time.
What should I wear?
You will need to wear warm comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day, with walking boots or trainers. Some of our experiences require your arms and legs to be covered, please check individual adventure restrictions to see if this applies to you.
Can I protect my booking in case of unforeseen circumstances?
Yes, you can purchase ticket protection insurance at checkout, giving you added peace of mind if unforeseen circumstances affect your plans and you need to claim a refund. Please read TicketPlan’s terms and conditions to find out what is and isn’t covered.
Can I book over the phone?
It is quicker to book online, but you’re welcome to call us if you’d prefer; please do so on 01248 601 444. Please note there may be a wait time on the phone, particularly during busy periods.
When are you open?
We are open all year round except Christmas day and Boxing Day. During off-peak seasons, please visit our checkout to see our booking calendar and our opening days. Each site has different opening times and days so please check our website.

How do I book?
The easiest way to book is online. Click the red ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page, and select your adventure, time, date and number of participants.
Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
We’d always recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. If you turn up without a booking, we will do our best to fit you in, but cannot guarantee this. Please be sure to book in advance if you’re travelling a distance to visit us.
I am a content creator and want to work with Zip World
Content creators are welcome to book onto experiences themselves and film using a phone, without any special equipment. This can be done without prior discussion or supervision from the marketing team. If you’re interested in a formal collaboration with us, please get in touch before your visit. We're dog friendly
We warmly welcome well-behaved dogs at all of our locations, making it the perfect adventure spot for the whole family, including your furry friends. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we require that dogs be accompanied by someone not participating in adventures at all times.
