Zip World is opening in Cardiff!
Zip World has always been rooted in Wales, from the opening of our very first site in North Wales to the home of the world’s fastest zip line. We have always wanted to continue to grow within Wales and what better place to do so than the heart of the country – Cardiff!
We are proud to officially shout from the stadium rooftop, that we will be re-opening the iconic aerial adventures at the one and only Principality Stadium as Zip World Cardiff! This marks our 5th Welsh site and 8th overall across the UK but it’s made more rewarding to do so in such a place like the Principality Stadium. Since opening in 1999 as the Millenium Stadium, the Principality Stadium has welcomed visitors in their millions and played host to some memorable moments such as major concerts and sporting events. We could not be more grateful to a part of such a Welsh landmark and central pillar to the city of Cardiff.
Zip World Cardiff will deliver an elevated and totally unique way of experiencing the Principality Stadium. Think sightseeing meets adrenaline – our aerial adventures will give you unparalleled views of Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons beyond while traversing and exploring what the rooftop of the stadium has to offer. Stadium Walk – from £34
The Stadium Walk allows you to experience the stadium from above with awe-inspiring views of Cardiff and beyond as you make your way around the roof’s canopy. View the stadium like never before with viewing platforms to soak up the surrounding sights and sounds.
Starting from ground level, you will be accompanied by our expert guides who will share their knowledge of the city with you along the way and keep you safe whilst taking part in all your adventures. You will ascend the equivalent of 200 steps to begin your adventure, stopping at various points to soak up the sights of the city and the stadium. You can then decide the end your journey with a zip line, an abseil or simply take the steps – it’s up to you.
Stadium Flyer – from £28
Stadium Flyer is Zip World’s first permanent city zip line! Fly along a 170m zip line across the canopy of the iconic stadium roof. For an even more elevated view of the capital city, the stadium flyer sees you take off from the highest accessible point of the stadium.
Gaze at the cityscape views before soaring at up to 27mph from 60m above the stadium roof. Think sightseeing meets adrenaline while you experience this unique way to view the stadium and the surrounding views of the Welsh capital. Complete the Stadium Walk to take on the Stadium Flyer for the ultimate adrenaline experience.
Stadium Drop – from £25
Feeling fearless after your rooftop experience? Then why not end the tour on a high as you take on the Stadium Drop! Stadium Drop is an exhilarating drop experience abseiling 30m down the side of the one and only Principality Stadium, with Cardiff city as your backdrop.
Your guide will attach you to the abseil system and give you a safety briefing before you begin descending. This is the quickest and most thrilling way back to ground-level but if quick isn’t your thing, you will be able to control your own speed as you descend.

Car: Just 15 minutes from the M4 with nearby public parking available.
Train: Nearest station is Cardiff Central with direct lines from all over the UK. The stadium is then just a 5-minute walk from the station.
Bus: Nearest bus stops to the stadium are Westgate Street, Wood Street and castle Street.
