Aber Falls

Aber Falls, named after the village Abergwyngregyn in which it's situated, is an epic waterfall that cascades down the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

The river plummets dramatically from a height of 120 feet, crashing into a shallow rocky pool before continuing towards the village of Abergwyngregyn.

Aber Falls is one of Eryri’s (Snowdonia) most dramatic waterfalls. Situated at the northern foothills of the Carneddau mountain range, the waterfall is part of Afon Goch’s (Red River) final descent to the Menai Straits. Aber Falls is an excellent option for those who are beginners and want to discover what makes Eryri (Snowdonia) so unique. A stone’s throw from the A55, Aber Falls offers many picnic areas with wide, open spaces perfect for families with young children. The main route to the waterfall is also accessible for most with a clear path laid out towards the bottom of the falls. The route is 4.5km there and back to the car park. There is a pay and display car park at the beginning of the path.
