Llandudno Pier
Llandudno Pier is the longest pier in Wales and one of the finest surviving Victorian piers in the UK. Stretching out over 2,295 feet into the Irish Sea, it has been a beloved feature of the Llandudno seafront since its opening in the late 19th century. With its elegant ironwork, timber decking, and charming kiosks, the pier captures the nostalgic beauty of the British seaside.
The pier was voted 'Pier of the Year' in 2025!
Originally built between 1876 and 1878, it has been a hub for seaside entertainment for generations. The pier has undergone careful restoration over the years to preserve its historic character, including recovery from storm damage and the addition of modern attractions like the Llandudno Eye Ferris wheel, which offers sweeping views across the bay.
Visitors can enjoy arcade games, funfair rides, and traditional treats like ice cream and candyfloss, as well as live music and refreshments at the pier’s end bar. Fishing is also popular from the landing stage, and the surrounding views of the Great Orme and coastline add to its appeal.
Whether you’re there for a family day out, a romantic stroll at sunset, or a trip down memory lane, Llandudno Pier offers a timeless slice of classic seaside charm.
