From gentle riverside strolls along the Llugwy to challenging mountain routes on Moel Siabod or Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) itself, a wide range of trails lie close by. Woodland paths, waterfalls like Swallow Falls, and well-marked forest tracks start almost from the doorstep, making it easy to spend full days exploring before returning to the calm and comfort of the cottage.

Set just outside Betws-y-Coed, the cottages offer easy access to both the coast and the mountains, making them ideal for sightseeing across North Wales. Historic Conwy is a short drive away, where you can explore its medieval walls, impressive castle and bustling harbour. Just beyond, Llandudno’s Victorian promenade, pier and Great Orme provide classic seaside views and attractions. With the cottages so close to Betws-y-Coed, also known as the 'gateway to Eryri' (Snowdonia), the cottage location is perfect to combine Eryri's (Snowdonia’s) landscapes with days out exploring the popular alpine town of Betws-y-Coed.

All of our accommodation is dog friendly, so well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay with us (fees apply). Some restrictions may also apply, including limits on the number of dogs per booking. We want your stay to be easy and enjoyable for both you and your dog, so we can provide dog essentials to help you both relax (excludes Tyn-y-Coed). Please contact us before check-in to advise that you’ll be bringing a dog. For everyone’s comfort and safety, dogs must be kept on a leash when in a public space.

How to find us

Our cottages are tucked away off the A470, just past Zip World Betws-y-Coed, so getting here is easy. The coordinates will direct you to the entrance of the driveway leading to the cottages. The cottages will come into view and the drive then splits off into Talfryn 1 and Talfryn 2.
